Pewabic Pottery, the beloved non-profit studio in Detroit, will debut its latest signature handcrafted giftware during its Holiday Showcase Opening Reception Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at 10125 Jefferson Ave.
Pewabic describes the event:
An unparalleled Detroit gift buying tradition, this exciting evening includes a first look at Pewabic’s latest handcrafted for the holidays giftware, a full array of traditional Pewabic wares, and ceramic art created by over 80 artists from around North America. Light refreshments, adult beverages with a featured cocktail created by McClary Bros. and Two James Spirits, coffee by Red Hook Detroit, unique chocolate creations by Detroit Chocolat, and live music will accompany this festive shopping experience. Attendance is free and secure parking is plentiful.
Pewabic describes is as a "non-profit ceramic design studio rich in heritage. An educational community devoted to inclusion. A creative incubator respected around the world."
