Greg Monroe
With the good comes the bad.
Detroit Pistons forward Greg Monroe, who had just signed a $5.5 million, one-year qualifying offer with the Pistons, was suspended Tuesday for the first two games of the season without pay by the NBA for pleading guilty in Michigan to driving while visibly impaired, Sportsnetwork.com reported.
"The organization is aware of the matter resulting in the NBA's announced two- game suspension for Greg Monroe," the Pistons said in a statement. "Greg has taken responsibility in a conscientious manner and resolved the matter with his representatives."
