Tigers players support management's move this week to send home pitcher Bruce Rondon for the remainder of the season for lack of effort, maturity and professionalism, ESPN reports.
But they also say they recognize his potential talent and would welcome him back next year if he adjusts his attitude.
"Absolutely. Absolutely," Ian Kinsler told ESPN.com. "Everybody grows up, everybody changes, everybody makes mistakes, and if he shows that he wants to compete and compete with his teammates, then absolutely.
Nick Castellanos echoed similar sentiments and said:
"It's extremely disappointing, because to play in the big leagues is a privilege. And you should want to represent yourself and the organization as best you can every day you wear a uniform, you know?"
