Summer in Michigan means two things: In July, someone will dig somewhere for Jimmy Hoffa and, come August, a new clue or lead will purportedly blow the lid off the Oakland County Child Killer case. By September, students are back and school and both crimes remain unsolved.

But maybe this time will be different. Thanks to an anonymous tip, police are digging up an old AMC Gremlin found buried on a Grand Blanc Township farm.
Detroit Free Press: Investigative records released in 2012 included a statement from Timothy's brother, Christopher, that he saw the Gremlin still parked while the family was looking for Timothy in the first few hours after he disappeared. Timothy's body was found four days later. He had been smothered and sexually assaulted.
Christopher King, now 51, told the Free Press in 2012 that he believes the police ignored him because he was a child.
Could this be that car? Maybe. However, Michigan State Police Lt. Michael Shaw told the Free Press that it's not uncommon for farmers to bury non-working cars on their property.
