Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton

As reflected in some national polls, Bernie Sanders does far better than Hillary Clinton in a match up against Republican Donald Trump in Michigan, a WDIV/Detroit News poll shows.
In a head-to-head general election match-up, presumptive Democratic nominee Clinton led presumptive Republican nominee Trump 43 percent to 38.5 percent, the poll shows, according to a report by Chad Livengood of The Detroit News.
But Sanders leads Trump by 18.7 percent, 51.7 percent to 33 percent. The poll was conducted by Lansing-based Glengariff Group Inc.
“I think Hillary Clinton’s biggest Achilles’ heel is she’s going to be the quintessential establishment candidate,” Saul Anuzis, a former Michigan Republican Party chairman, tells The News.
