GreenSpace Cafe, the popular vegan restaurant on 9 Mile Road in downtown Ferndale, is expanding its footprint with a food truck.
"News! We are going mobile. Our food truck will be on the road in June. Watch for updates!" the restaurant posted on Facebook.
GreenSpace Cafe opened in Ferndale in November 2015.
Cardiologist JKoel Kahn and his son Daniel, who has an MBA and experience in restaurants, are owners.
Dr. Kahn is a columnist for various publications, including Reader's Digest, a TV commentator and author of books including, "Dead Execs Don't Get Bonuses," which bills itself as the ultimate guide to surviving your career with a healthy heart. He runs the Kahn Center for Cardiac Longevity, with locations in Bloomfield Township and Grosse Pointe Farms.
