The popular Green Room, a hole-in-the-wall carryout joint known for its salad bar and soup, closed in April after it lost its lease in the Ford Building on Griswold and Congress in downtown Detroit. It had been there since 1996.

Now Green Room fans can rejoice. It will open around March across the street in the Guardian Building on Griswold, reports Brenna Houck of Eater Detroit.
Unlike the other site, there will be common seating for people to enjoy their food.
