A 26-year-old pedestrian from Florida died after being struck by an Amtrak train early Saturday morning, Fox 2 reports.
Police responded to a call around 12:50 a.m. at the CN Railroad crossing at 6th and S. Main Street. Authorities said the man appeared to have ignored a lowered crossing arm.
He was pronounced dead at William Beaumont Hospital. It's unclear if alcohol was a factor.
