A 29-year-old pregnant mother of two and a 30-year-old man were fatally shot Tuesday on Deacon Street in southwest Detroit, WDIV reports.
Police said the killer fire a long gun at the house from outside, killing Sophia Wilson and the man, Jason Colthorp of WDIV reports. The man's identity was not disclosed in the story.
Two people were taken into custody but authorities don't believe they were involved in the shooting.
"Everybody loved her," Monica Wilson, Sophia Wilson's mother, tells WDIV. "She was such a free spirit."
Wilson has a daughter, 9, and a son, 5.
