Prince Fielder in happier days with the Tigers
Prince Fielder, 32, who the TIgers traded in 2013 to the Texas Rangers for Ian Kinsler, is expected to announce his retirement on Wednesday, Fox Sports reports:

#Rangers’ Fielder underwent his second neck surgery on July 29. He is guaranteed $24M annually through 2020. Not known if TEX has insurance.

Prince Fielder missed only 13 games over eight seasons from 2006-’13. Everything changed after he underwent his first surgery in May 2014.
