Yes, we know huffing isn't new -- but WWJ's police item from Livingston County still seems like a bizarre, risky twist on a cheap high.

A Hartland man is in trouble with with the law after police say he was driving under the influence of compressed air.

State police arrived on the scene of a single car accident to find a car had crashed into a fire hydrant in the Kroger parking lot on Highland Road in Hartland.

The 24-year-old driver told the troopers that he had passed out while inhaling “air duster” – canned compressed air used to clean out hard-to-reach spots.

Wacky enough? Not done yet:

Police found open alcohol containers in the vehicle – along with another 18 cans of air duster.

We suddenly feel quite conventional for some reason.
