"If you see something, say something" goes a mantra of our age

A driver did just that. The woman called police late last month to report that a man was exposing himself to her while they were at a traffic light at Ann Arbor and Haggerty roads in Plymouth Township, reports Darrell Clem of Hometown Life.

Turns out he was trying to put a sex toy in his pants to surprise his wife, according to police.

An officer stopped the man in his silver Ford Edge after a report that he was exposing himself.

The man told police he had intended to take a picture with the sex toy in his pants and send it to his wife as a joke, the report said.

Police checked back with the woman, who said it could have been a case of mistaken indecent exposure.

Police gave the man a ticket for not wearing a seat belt during the Nov. 30 incident and advised him to make better decisions while driving.

Sounds like good advice.
