She's back.
Nicole Curtis, star of the popular show "Rehab Addict," hosts an open house in Birmingham this weekend. The home is one of two she's rehabbing this season. The other one is in Ferndale.
The open house is at 1 p.m. Sunday at 1223 E. 14 Mile Rd.
Curtis writes on Facebook:
The 14 Mile house is ready for visitors. This time around we are raising money to build a new playground in honor of our beloved Tessa. We ask for a $5 per person donation at the door-exact change is appreciated.
This house is finished so it's open to all ages and as always, we have two lines: 1. for the oldest and the youngest and everyone who needs some extra assistance and 2. one for everyone else who is blessed with good health and enjoys mingling with some great people in line.
We will be posting directions for parking later this week. It's a bit tricky, but please email my assistant@nicolecurtis.com if you have someone that qualifies for line 1 so that we may arrange drop-off at the house for you and your guest.
It's going to be busy, but I promise to greet each and everyone of you at the door and get you in just like we always have.
If you are flying in from out of town, please let us know. If something crazy happens with weather, we will be postponing, but will get out -of-towners in for sure.

Rehab Addict is currently airing on the DIY Network Wednesdays at 9 p.m. The home on 14 Mile was acquired for $122,000 as a teardown and had to be completely renovated.
The house was hit by a car earlier this spring; viewers can see what happened in terms of repairs later in the season. It will be an Airbnb home for Curtis.
