AMC airs the sixth episode of the new Detroit cop show "Low Winter Sun" tonight at 10 p.m. The first season has 10 episodes, which means we're more than halfway through the first season.
Word-of-mouth reviews from local viewers so far are mixed. Some like it a lot. Others complain that it's slow or they're not crazy about the "Greektown Mafia" part.
I've been covering the show since it started filming its pilot episode a year ago. I've gotten to know the producers, writers and actors.
And some of them said things really blow up and get intense in the sixth episode. We shall see.
