Detroit is getting a shoutout on Saturday Night Live.
The show's website says new cast member Tim Robinson hails from Detroit.
The site says that that he began studying improv at The Second City Detroit during his senior year of high school.
He then moved to Chicago where he continued performing at The Second City on the Mainstage and in their National Touring Company, the site says.
He currently live in New York.
The site doesn't actually say if he grew up in Detroit proper or the burbs.
