"Rip" Hamilton
Richard "Rip" Hamilton, a popular Detroit Piston who went on to play for the Chicago Bulls, is currently a free agent looking for a team in the NBA.
Hamilton, 36, tells BusinessWorld that he hasn't given up on playing this season. He played 54 games with the Bulls last season.
“Who knows, man. It is one of those things when you love the game so much. But also I know I am enjoying my freedom right now. But you’ll never know,” he said.
BusinessWorld reports that if playing isn't an option, he'd like to get into sports broadcasting, much like his former Detroit Pistons teammate Chauncey Billups.
“Yes. To get the opportunity to speak about basketball is something that I always want to do. So I want to do something on TV in the future,” he said.
