Sometimes real life is like a made-for-TV movie, as Sarah Schuch shows with a feel-good tale in the Flint Journal about a formerly hospitalized Bob Seger fan.
For the past two years, Evie Branan has been eagerly waiting for a Seger concert after she came out of her semi-coma on May 7, 2011. . . .

Bob Seger
Branan, now 79, suffered a stroke after falling and smacking her head.
"I want to go to a Bob Seger concert," were the first words out of Branan's mouth after suddenly awakening from a five-year semi-coma.
"Why would I say that?" Branan laughed. "Maybe my last thoughts were Bob Seger before I had my stroke."
The Flint Township woman attends her fifth Seger show Thursday night at the Palace in Auburn Hills and is invited to meet band members and maybe the star at an after-party. He turns 68 in less than a month and could be considered somewhat of a survivor as well.
