Ronna McDaniel (Twitter photo)
Michigan's Ronna "Don't Call Me Romney" McDaniel is all in with President Donald Trump.
You might recall in 2017 she complied when Trump asked her to drop, at least publicly, "Romney" from her name while serving as Republican National Committee chair. Her uncle Mitt Romney had been hypercritical of Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign, calling him "a phony, a fraud."
Now McDaniel posts a threatening tweet to stir up loyalty for the commander in chief, drawing a rebuke even from some notable Republicans like Sen. John McCain's daughter Meghan McCain and conservative Bill Kristol. (See tweets below).
Complacency is our enemy. Anyone that does not embrace the @realDonaldTrump agenda of making America great again will be making a mistake.

I’m old enough to remember when Ronna Romney McDaniel spoke in a way befitting a citizen of a free republic, before Ronna McDaniel started sounding like a spokesperson for an authoritarian government. https://t.co/Z4zAl5NMSj
