Detroit lost to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, but Detroit stands to be a major benefactor of the riches of the Buffalo Bills.
The football team is expected to be sold this week for $1.4 billion, The Buffalo News reports, and the money will go into the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation.
The late Ralph C. Wilson was the founder of the Bills and lived in Grosse Pointe Shores.
The Buffalo paper reports that Wilson had directed the foundation to focus its spending on his hometown of Detroit and Buffalo.
