The FBI is hunting a robber suspected of holding up at least four Oakland banks since December. Birmingham police say he may have pulled a fifth heist there last Friday.

A $2,500 reward is offered for information leading to an arrest, Birmingham Patch reports.

In the latest robbery, a masked man with a gun got $9,000 from a Comerica Bank on West Maple Road in Birmingham, Patch editor Laura Houser writes. Police Lt. Mike Albrect told her the crime may be linked to four bank hold-ups since Dec. 20 in Royal Oak, Berkley and Madison Heights that "are similar in nature."

In each case, the suspect wore a ski mask, black clothes and glove and was describes as being about six feel tall.

According to the FBI, the same man may have pulled a Dec. 18 robbery of a 7-11 in Madison Heights, Patch says.
