A five-page advertising spread in the March issue of Vogue shines a spotlight on luxury watchmaker Shinola and its home base, Robin Schwartz reports.
The ad is in the center of the magazine and calls Detroit "the city that continues to call the world's bluff." It features local sites and faces, such as Cliff Bell's jazz bar and singer Melvin Davis.
"We're really excited to show the community we're in and the people that inspire us, and that's the city of Detroit and we're really proud to be here," creative director Daniel Caudill tells Schwartz.
