In early summer, Tina Motley, 47, of Farmington Hills opened Le Petit Dejeuner – French for "breakfast" – on Brush Street in Brush Park.
The Free Press gave it a thumbs-up, but things didn't last. In September it closed, posting this on Facebook:
We are temporarily closed due to unexpected issues with the location. We will reopen soon. Sorry for any inconvenience that we may caused you. Thank you for your continued support and love for le Petit Dejeuner "the Breakfast". We will let you know as soon as we reopen.

Now there's comeback news in the latest post Sunday at that same social media page:
We're opening today at 2548 Grand River at Fourth from 10 a.m.-3.p.m. Closed Monday, reopening Tuesday-Sunday, from 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
That location is just west of Cass Tech High School's athletic field.
Brenna Houck of Eater Detroit reports:
Owner Tina Motley confirms to Eater that she's testing a new partnership with Grand River Avenue's TV Lounge starting this week.
Dejeuner will occupy the under-utilized stage space at the club, she explains, and will take advantage of the Lounge's liquor license. "The bar will be open during my hours that's kind of a plus for both of us," she adds. Motley will start off the week serving her original shared plates menu, but plans to test new items like shrimp and grits, German chocolate waffles, and salmon hash once she gets more comfortable in the kitchen.
Eater Detroit writes that Motley is moving forward with litigation, saying the landlord tried to evict her because of rising real estate prices in Brush Park.
