Signage on Woodward Avenue in the Little Caesars Arena is now up for Mike’s Pizza Bar, an artisanal-style pizza kitchen that's a nod to the late Mike Ilitich.
The restaurant will have indoor/outdoor dining and patio spaces and a custom signature bar that will serve a collection of craft beers, cocktails and wine. Fans will be able to order select menu items from a walk-up counter in the arena.
Customers don't need a ticket to an event to dine at the restaurant, which will be open even when the arena isn't. It's scheduled to debut Sept. 12 for the first of four Kid Rock concerts.
