Ferndale police are investigating a rare drive-by shooting that sent a 19-year-old who was sleeping in her bed to the hospital.
WWJ reports the shooting happened around 2 a.m. on West Bennett, a quiet street near 8 Mile and Woodward.
The woman is being treated for multiple bullet wounds at Royal Oak Beaumont. Her condition is unknown.
Police say they do not have a suspect or vehicle description.
