Tuesday clearly is not a slow news day in Detroit. So this must reflect an infatuation with hot dogs and Slows.
Local media report that Slows Bar BQ has a three-month summer pop-up called Side Piece Detroit every Wednesday night, starting this week, at its side bar area on Michigan Avenue in Corktown.
Five styles of hot dogs and sausages will be available for $5 each, reports Brenna Houck of Eater Detroit.
Options include the Dog Will Rise Again with hot chow chow, braised greens, and fried onions or the Jeff Goldblum’s Jurassic Park Laugh with pastrami, kraut, swiss cheese and hot brown mustard.
