Union lawyers deposing Gov. Rick Snyder as part of Detroit's bankruptcy case have agreed to refrain from asking Snyder about other potential candidates for the emergency manager position prior to hiring Kevyn Orr.

WXYZ: Snyder's deposition is Wednesday in Lansing, while Treasurer Andy Dillon and transformation manager Richard Baird will be questioned Thursday.

The state had said that disclosing the candidates' names would violate their privacy and could damage the current jobs of some because their employers are not aware of their interest in the emergency manager job.

Orr was named Detroit's emergency manager in March. He filed for Chapter Nine bankruptcy protection on behalf of the city in July.
