Let's face it: The Obama supporters hope the missing absentee ballots were supposed to go to Romney backers, and vice versa.

Whatever the case, there's a problem in Macomb and Oakland counties. Voting day is closing in. Where the heck are the absentee ballots?

The Macomb Daily reports that some residents are wondering where their ballots are.

The city of Roseville has only gotten back about 40 percent of it's absentee ballots, the Macomb Daily reports. Residents in Clinton Township have also complained of not getting ballots as have people in Auburn Hills.

“I can assure you that I personally delivered the ballots to our post office on Oct. 9, I know that for a fact but we’re hearing from people who say they have not yet received them,” Roseville City Clerk Richard Steenland told the paper. “I can only apologize for the inconvenience, but it’s due to issues beyond our control.”

The Macomb Daily reported that Auburn Hills City Clerk Terri Kowal issued a press release stating  that more than 800 of the 1,455 ballots mailed out on Oct. 3 are unaccounted for.

And in Clinton Township, the paper reported that  man called the city office and was told there was a problem with address labels falling off.
