Police have taken a 16-year-old boy into custody after his mother fell out of a second-story window at their Farmington Hills home and died early Monday morning, WXYZ reports.
The victim, Huranjeh Nada, 35, either fell out of a second window or was pushed, reports Jim Kiertzner of WXYZ,. Police tell the station that they don't believe it was an accident. To date, no charges hae been filed.
The boy, who is being held in an Oakland County juvenile detention center, is now a suspect in what is being considered a murder, reports Kiertzner.
The victim was going through a divorce from Dr. Bassel Altantawi, whose medical license was suspended by the state of Michigan in February due to negligence, incompetence, lack of good moral character, criminal conviction and unethical business practice.
Police say he is not a suspect in the case.
Nada worked as a trainer at the Franklin Athletic Club in Southfield.
