What does your company do?
We help athletes and aspiring athletes reach their fitness goals.  We also provide a fun way to workout in our indoor cycling lab.

How?
When you come in to Detroit Endurance Lab for a class, we'll attach your bicycle (or a loaner one of ours) to a CompuTrainer machine and input your weight and other data.  Then you'll begin a coached workout session, following along on the screen in front of you and receiving tips and instruction from your coach.  The 60-minute or 120-minute classes fly by as you ride a course that's designed to optimize your training.  Classes are suitable for all levels, from total newbies to more experienced cyclists and triathletes.

How will you know it's working?
We know it's working because there's usually a waiting list to get into our classes, especially in wintertime.  Plus, we've never had a coached athlete not complete their training goal.

Why Michigan?
Detroit has a huge emerging cycling community that needs resources and support.  More than that, it's our home and the place we love.  We want to help Detroit get in race shape.  A city with such a rich bike culture needs a way to stay in shape, train for bike races and triathlons, and stay fit through the winter months.  We also hope to bring bike racing front and center in the summer months.

Who are the brains behind the creation?
Landall Proctor, founder and head coach, is a USA Cycling Certified coach with a ton of experience under his belt.  He has completed an Ironman distance triathlon, ridden his bike (solo and und unsupported) around the perimeter of the United States, finished second in the Virginia State Hill Climb Championship at Wintergreen Mountain, and finished first at Tachinno Cyclocross in Maryland.

Jill Proctor runs the marketing operations of Detroit Endurance Lab.   As a runner, her favorite run is along the Detroit Riverwalk, up into Corktown, and back to downtown via Michigan Avenue. Her favorite coney is Duly's in Southwest.  Her favorite beer, Ghettoblaster.
