The state of Michigan is getting into the act with the renovation of the Ransom Gillis House in Brush Park in Detroit -- sort of.

Curbed Detroit reports that the Michigan Film Office is chipping in $211,031 in incentives to help the production company managing the shoot as HGTV Rehab Addict Nicole Curtis films a series on the restoration.

Dan Gilbert's real estate company, Bedrock, is involved restoration of that house and others as part of a major development in the historic Brush Park neighborhood.
