Is Nick Lyon, the state's director of health and human services, about to get popped on criminal charges in connection with the Flint water crisis?

It seems possible.

Ron DeWaard, a Grand Rapids attorney representing the department, received a subpoena for a felony criminal case against Lyon, Chad Livengood of The Detroit News reports.

But to date,  the subpoena and accompanying criminal charge have not been filed in Attorney General Bill Schuette’s Flint water contamination investigation, the paper adds. 

DeWaard tells The News that Schuette's office sent him the subpoena with a caption of “The People of the State of Michigan v. Nick Lyon,” but no such case exists.

“All I can tell you is I have a subpoena with that case number on it,” DeWaard says.
