State Police Raid Prosecutor's Office in Never-Dull Macomb County

Michigan State Police on Wednesday morning were  executing a search warrant at the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office, WDIV reports.

The raid comes two weeks after the state police confirmed an investigation into  the handling of asset forfeiture funds by Macomb County Prosecutor Eric Smith's office. The investigation, led by the Michigan Attorney General's Office, was requested by Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel.
