Suicide by Amtrak in Royal Oak?

A man may have committed suicide by letting an Amtrak train strike him early Wednesday morning in Royal Oak, police say.

The southbound train struck the man before 6 a.m., Mike McConnell of The Daily Tribune reports. “Early indications are it was a suicide,” Police Chief Corrigan O’Donohue says of the unidentified victim.
