Tavis Smiley is bringing his show to the Motor City.
The popular PBS late-night host is scheduled to tape five episodes March, 23, 24 and 25 before a live audience at the Community Arts Auditorium at Wayne State University, a press release says.
The shows will cover topics including downtown Detroit's rebirth, the problems facing Detroit's neighborhoods, Dearborn's Arab-American community, the arts community and education.
The five-night series is supported by the Ford Foundation and The Skillman Foundation.
