Here we go again. The war of words over new tax support for the DIA isn't over, even though voters in Oakland, Macomb and Wayne passed an August millage.
A conservative group is suing the museum over its $15 adult admission fee for a special exhibit of a jeweled items from the legendary House of Faberge, WDIV reports.
The Michigan Taxpayers Alliance is calling a foul. The group's lawsuit claims Metro Detroit voters were bamboozled into thinking a vote for the D.I.A. millage meant it would be free admission.
