Detroit continues to earn positive fallout from this month's splashy visit by British mogul Richard Branson.

The headlines above Saturday's glowing article.
The latest example of what could be called a Branson bump is an effusive tourism recommendation Saturday in the Daily Mail, a leading United Kingdom newspaper. "Detroit is revving up," writes deputy travel editor Jenny Coad, who visited June 11-13 on a junket sponsored by Branson's Virgin America to showcase new daily service between London and Detroit.
"People are moving back into downtown . . . and small businesses are bubbling up all over the place," adds Coad.
You shouldn’t miss the chance to drop in — it’s a fascinating place and locals are proud to say they are Detroiters. . . .
There’s art, inspired architecture, classic hot dogs and the warmest of American welcomes.
Coad, who says the city "is far from downtrodden," describes sightseeing at the DIA, Motown Museum, the Guardian Building, The Henry Ford, RiverWalk, Indian Village and the Ford Rouge Factory Tour in Dearborn ("petrolheads will love it.")
"I, for one, wish the city well," she says of Detroit, where she tweeted this during her whirlwind stay:
