Detroit's Cadiuex Café, best known for feather bowling and steamed mussels, is changing owners.
Paul Howard, co-owner of popular Detroit jazz club Cliff Bell's, and local musician John Rutherford are purchasing the east side bar and restaurant at 4300 Cadieux Rd., Crain's Detroit Business and others reportr from a Monday news release.

Effective Jan. 1, ownership will be transferred from the Devos family, which has maintained the former speakeasy's "old-world charm and traditions" since 1962.
"We feel that John and Paul are the perfect fit to keep our family's Belgian legacy alive as well as usher in a new generation of traditions that will ensure the Cadieux Café's place as an East Side mainstay for years to come," the release says.
