Who doesn't like apples?
Well, let's start with some folks in Detroit's Palmer Park area.
Some are taking their battle to city hall to get rid of hundreds of apple trees that were locally planted in a park by People for Palmer Park, a non-profit that promotes beautifying the grounds.
Resident say they fear the trees will attract rodents and impact property values.
Opponents are set to appear before the City Council today at 1 p.m.
"It's not a farming community — it's a residential neighborhood," resident Eric Sabree told the Detroit News..
