Dan Gilbert's real estate empire continues to grow.
Bedrock Detroit, his property management company, purchased The Buhl Building on Griswold Street and its parking deck in downtown Detroit, along with the Harvard Square Centre building on Broadway Street for an undisclosed price, reports Kirk Pinho of Crain's Detroit Business:
The company has nearly 100 properties, including garages and parking lots, that total nearly 16 million square feet in greater downtown, Pinho writes.
Bedrock also has billions of dollars in ground-up construction planned around the central business district.
