Judge McCree with Geniene LaShay Mott.

Suspended Wayne County Circuit Judge Wade McCree became well known for texting a shirtless photo to a female courthouse employee, then telling a reporter "there's no shame in my game."

On Monday, came more shame.

The Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission recommended he be removed from the bench and be suspended for six years if he wins re-election in 2014. The Supreme Court will have final say on the matter.

Besides sending the photo, the judge, who has acted like an immature junior high jock, has admitted to having an affair with a woman, Geniene LaShay Mott, who was before his court on a child support matter with her ex-boyfriend.

Now, if he had any shame, he would have quit and done a Charles Pugh and vanished into thin air.  Instead, he's gone through laborious  hearings to determine his fate, hoping for a miracle.

Yes,  Wade McCree may have no shame in his game.

And that is  the very core of his problem.

University of Detroit Mercy School of Law Professor Larry Dubin tells the Detroit Free Press that the best outcome McCree can hope for is a suspension rather than removal, under the reasoning his actions were an aberration.

Anything short of getting kicked off the bench will be a shame.
