Cam Gibson
Here comes Gibby Jr.
The Detroit Tigers on Tuesday drafted Cam Gibson, son of Kirk Gibson, in the fifth round of the Major League Baseball draft.
Gibson, 21, is a left fielder for Michigan State University, where his father attended. He's 6-foot 2, 195 pounds.
In 2014, when he was a sophomore, he had 70 hits, which tied him for the most on the team and 10th in the Big Ten. He batted .315 with a .405 on-base percentage that ranked ninth in the Big Ten.
