Christine Beatty
It certainly will be interesting to see what type of questions listeners have for Kwame Kilpatrick's former lover and ex-chief of staff Christine Beatty.
Marti Benedetti writes in Crain's Detroit Business that Beatty will host a live call-in show on WFDF AM 910 beginning Jan. 23 and will address how she is moving on with her life. The show will run every Saturday, 5-7 p.m.
Crain's reports that Beatty will do the show live at the station’s Southfield studio and the Atlanta area, where she lives.
The station will also debut a talk show Saturday featuring Wayne County Circuit Court Judge Vonda Evans and Detroit City Councilman Mary Sheffield, Crain's reports.
Beatty will also be featured on a upcoming docu-series on Centric, a BET cable station. The show is called "From the Bottom Up."
Beatty is one of one of five black women who have fallen out of grace and are on “on the verge of a triumphant return” from adversity, according to the website of Centric, the Detroit Free Press reports. The show premieres Jan. 16.
