Police have made arrests in the high-profile, murder of a Courtney Meeks, a 24-year-old CVS security guard who was shot last week in Detroit while trying to help a woman who was the victim of a carjacking.

Fox 2's Taryn Asher reports that three people have been arrested, including one suspect who made a full confession. The third suspect , Jamare Lanelle Rucker, 20, was arrested in Warren on Thursday. Police said a tip led to the arrests. 

Meeks was shot Feb. 26 while confronting three carjacking suspects outside the CVS on Schaeffer Highway near West McNichols Road.

The victim's father told Fox 2 that CVS had not called, sent a card or acknowledged the family's loss.
