From the violent Jan. 6 rioters to people illegally blockading abortion clinics, President Donald Trump is making it clear that he'll pardon or commute the sentences of people who further his agenda, even if they break the law.
On Thursday, Trump pardoned eight people convicted in federal court in Michigan for their roles in separate illegal blockades at abortion clinics in Sterling Heights and Saginaw, the Detroit News reports.
They were among 24 people nationwide who got pardons for blocking abortion clinics.
"They should not have been prosecuted," Trump said Thursday in the Oval Office as he signed pardons for "peaceful pro-life protesters” targeted by the Biden administration, the News reports.
