This might as well be declared Trump week in Michigan.
On Tuesday, President Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump came to Detroit to head up a discussion about a combined $500-million public and private-sector investment designed to promote a nationwide access to high-quality K-12 education programs on coding and computer science.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Vice President Mike Pence comes to Michigan. On Wednesday, he'll attend a state Republican Party dinner in Bloomfield Hills. On Thursday, he'll meet Gov. Rick Snyder, who has been no friend of the president.
