Richard DeVos
Twelve Michiganians are on Forbes magazine's "The Richest People on the Planet 2013" list, with Amway's Richard DeVos topping the local list.
Controversial bridge owner Matty Moroun and Dan Gilbert also make the list of billionaires, though Moroun slipped from being the 556th richest person three years ago to a lower spot now at 1,268.
WXYZ compiled the local list and included each person's overall world standing in the list.
