Two Car Wash Workers Shot at Detroit Bus Stop; One Dies

Two car wash employees were waiting at a bus stop Sunday around 7:30 p.m at Livernois and Warren on the city’s west side when a man with a handgun opened fire, killing one and wounding the other, the Detroit News reports

One victim, a  20-year-old man, died at the scene, reports Louis Aguilar of the News. The other man,19, was in stable condition. The assailant was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black/orange jacket and blue jeans, police said.

Police said the 19-year-old victim fled the scene, ran south on Livernois and jumped on an approaching DDOT bus. The driver called 911.
