Police have made progress in the case of the Grosse Pointe Park motorist who was beaten after crashing into a vehicle on Detroit's east side on Saturday.
The Detroit News reports that two men, Toriano Williams, 20, and Desmond Williams, 33, have been charged in the attack against Nathaniel Szczerbinski, 34.
Szczerbinski was driving his car the wrong way Saturday afternoon when he was struck by a vehicle driven by Desmond Williams, the News reports. Toriano Williams was a passenger.
The defendants are charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm and aggravated assault, the News reports. Desmond Williams also is charged with driving with an expired license. Szczerbinski had surgery for a broken eye socket.
