WXYZ reports that two children, ages 1 and 4, have died after being pulled from a burning home on Detroit's West Side. They had been left home alone.

Arson investigators called the blaze suspicious, and a witness told the station he saw two men throw something through a window into the home before the fire. The men fled in a black Ford F-150. Officials did not confirm that.

The fire took place on the 16000 block of Prairie near McNichols and Livernois.

The father of the two boys told Kimberly Craig  he went to a neighbor's house for ten minutes for a cigarette. When we came out, the house was on fire. Another witness said the father was gone for 30 minutes.

"They better watch out for me," the boys' father told Craig, speaking of the supposed perpetrators.
