Two teens are held in connection with a triple murder inside a home on Detroit's west side that included a 5-year-old boy, police announced Tuesday.
The 16- and 17-year-old boys were arrested Monday, Fox 2 reports. They were known to the victims, police said, but a motive has yet to be determined.
"This case, like so many others, has tugged at the heart and spirit of this department," Detroit Police Chief James White said.
Authorities were called to the 15300 block of Evergreen on Sunday afternoon after a relative of one of the victims discovered the bodies -- a 28-year-old woman, her 32-year-old boyfriend and her 5-year-old son Caleb, Fox 2 reports.
